The Idea
An arbor is shelter made of living things. Branches trained toward one another, season after season, until they hold.
The Arbors is a collection of fourteen residences set on three and a half gated acres beneath heritage live oaks in West Austin. The name describes the site before it describes the architecture. The canopy was here first, and every residence was placed to keep it.
